Yesterday Keith and I drove to Lulworth Cove in Dorset, a place we had both been as children but had forgotten what a gem it is – until now. Lulworth Cove is a quaint little fishing harbour with a pebble beach and more photo opportunities than you can imagine. I’m so glad I had my camera with me and I can’t believe how lucky we were with the weather. Yesterday was glorious sunshine and blue skies and today was just miserable in comparison. It was a really lovely day out, Keith drove while I annoyed him with comments like “Not too fast!” and “Ooooh! Mind the pedestrians.” Sometimes I would just gasp (I secretly like winding him up). Before we left home I grabbed my old CD case … I thought a few tunes from my early 20s would be fun to listen to on the drive down to the coast… so between gasps I played DJ… first off was Rhianna: ‘A Girl Like Me’. I really like this CD… a great mix of upbeat tempo tracks and slower melodies. We stopped at a petrol station along the way for refreshments and while Keith was in the shop I switched to one of my all time fav clubbing CDs: Kiss House Nation 2001. So many tunes on there I love… my absolute favourite being Delerium: Silence. I LOVE that song! As we pulled out of the petrol station, I turned up the volume to listen to this awesome track. As some of you may know, I’m also a fan of 60′s Rock n’ Roll so next up was my 60′s Rock n’ Roll Love Songs CD… now I don’t care what anyone says… 60′s Rock n’ Roll music is great… puts you in a good mood I think – and I love to sing along! I think there’s a time and a place for most types of music and this is definitely one of them. Just as we headed into the countryside, Heartbeat began to play, LOL. Cheesy? Yes. Probably. But I thought it was very apt since it looked like we were driving through a scene of the tv programme Heartbeat – I found it quite amusing really. Well I have to entertain myself somehow don’t I? After an entertaining car journey, we finally arrived at Lulworth Cove and apart from a slight fishy smell, it really was a wonderful place. I’m definitely going back to do a few photo shoots. Here are some of the photographs I took yesterday… and Keith did a bit of posing too
