On Saturday I was up bright and early for the wedding of my good friend Lizzie and her fiance (now husband) Simon. As some of you will know from Thursday's blog post, Lizzie and Simon opted for a vintage tea party wedding held in a marquee in their field in Sway, near the New Forest in Hampshire. I was honoured to be asked to photograph such a special day for my friend and arrived bright and early (8.15am to be precise) to take Lizzie to the hairdressers where I photographed her having her hair done. We then headed back to her cottage to pick up a few final pieces to drop off at St. Andrews Church in Tiptoe before she could continue getting herself ready. I was joined by fellow photographer Kat Hill who travelled down from London to assist me with the wedding photography.
